It has been a well earned month of relaxation for the 50 Ability Marathons Team. Paul, Grant and Aaron are ready for their next marathon which will be in Aspen Colorado on Saturday July 20th. The Aspen Valley Marathon should prove to be a challenging race being at a higher altitude where the air is thinner and harder to take in oxygen. The race will start in Aspen at Wagner Park at an elevation of 7,920 ft above sea level and end in Basalt at 6,608 ft in Lions Park. Luckily at this altitude the course will be running mostly downhill heading north up the Rio Grande Trail. This beautiful and scenic course will hopefully ease our athletes back into their grueling schedule.
