The Salt Lake City Marathon will be ran tomorrow, Saturday April 20th.  Unfortunately for all of those participating, it looks like you are going to get wet.  The forecast calls for rain from around midnight till about 11:00 a.m. the next morning and cold, expected to be in the mid 40’s.   Burrrr!  But that’s ok, Paul, Grant and Aaron have raced in these conditions numerous times before.  Not to mention, it will be good conditioning for the Humpy’s Marathon coming up in August in Anchorage Alaska.

Despite the weather, the marathon will be in a picturesque setting, with the snow-capped mountains in the background and all the trees and flowers starting to bloom.  The race will start at the Olympic Legacy Bridge at the University of Utah.  This is where the Olympic Athlete Village is located that was used for the 2002 Winter Olympics.  The course is said to be flat and slightly downhill, gently rolling around the base of the Wasatch Mountains, through many of the inviting neighborhoods and then through Salt Lakes wide downtown streets until the course ends in the center of the city.
